Shipping Policy
Most pieces leave the showroom in person, after a viewing. When you would rather have a piece sent to you, this is how we handle it.
1. How we ship
We send every piece by insured courier with a signature required on delivery. Domestic orders travel by a tracked express service. International orders go by express courier, with the carrier chosen for the destination; within China we use SF Express.
Every shipment is insured for the full purchase price from our door to yours.
2. Cost
We quote shipping before you pay, and the quote depends on the piece, its insured value and the destination. You confirm the total before we take payment.
Import duties and taxes on international orders are yours to pay. The carrier or your customs office collects them on arrival. We cannot mark a shipment as a gift or understate its value.
3. Processing
Once your payment clears, we pack and dispatch within 10 business days. A piece that is still out for authentication paperwork, or reserved for a viewing, can take longer; we tell you at the time of purchase when that applies.
You receive an email the day the piece ships, with the tracking number.
4. Delivery times
Domestic orders usually arrive 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. International orders usually arrive 5 to 12 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and how long customs holds the parcel. These are the carriers' estimates, not a guarantee.
5. Where we ship
We ship to most countries. If our carriers do not serve your address, contact us before you buy and we will look for a route.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes, parcel lockers or freight forwarders. Give us a street address where someone can sign for the parcel.
6. Tracking
The tracking number in your dispatch email works on the carrier's own website. If it shows no movement for three business days, tell us and we will chase the carrier.
7. If something goes wrong
If a parcel arrives damaged, or has not arrived within 3 days of the carrier's estimated delivery date, contact us within 3 days of that date. Keep the packaging and photograph any damage; the insurer asks for both. We open the claim and either replace the piece where we can or refund you in full.
Check the address you give us. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong, you pay the cost of sending it again.
8. Contact
For anything about a shipment, reply to any email we have sent you, or use the appointments page to reach us.
